Leadership Courses

Resilience is critical for leaders.  We live and work in a fast-paced world where we are asked to accomplish increasingly more.  We are under inordinate amounts of stress to deliver and we have to respond quickly to a changing world.  Leaders not only have to manage themselves, but they are responsible for getting the best out of the people who work with and for them.  The stronger leader is able to cope with stress, to handle change, and to lead people with insight and innovation. To do this requires hardiness.

Programs are offered as 1/2 day, full or 2-day workshops depending on your needs.  In addition, online training webinars are also available.

We use emotional intelligence, (EQ-i2.0)  and the Hardiness Resilience Gauge (HRG) assessments in this work.

Resilient Leadership

Only 25% of senior executive roles in Canadian STEM organizations are occupied by women. This is a far cry from the 59% of Canadian STEM graduates who are women. Studies show that top female executives rank highest in professional and leadership skills such as coaching, emotional intelligence, and authenticity.

This program provides research-based content that focuses on skills that are essential for career advancement: authenticity, coaching, emotional intelligence, mentorship, and effective communication. There will be two (full day) sessions followed by s one-on-one executive coaching, over a 6-month duration, to help you enhance your professional and personal growth.  Coaching is delivered by our suite of ICF accredited executive coaches.

Each participant will work with a personal executive coach on a personalized management plan and will be awarded a certificate by the International Coaching Federation. You will also receive the opportunity to network with other successful women and share strategies for success.

The program includes pre and post assessment, 2-day workshop and 6 months executive coaching.

We use emotional intelligence (EQ-i2.0) assessments in this work.

For Women in STEM

There are several factors that can contribute to a person’s resiliency level. The primary psychological factor that contributes to people’s resiliency is their hardiness level.

There are three components that make up a person’s hardiness level.

Challenge is seeing change and novelty as exciting and as an opportunity for you to learn and grow. Control is having a sense of self-efficacy and the belief that you can influence outcomes in your life. Commitment is being engaged and seeing most parts of your life as interesting and meaningful.

This offering explores the components of hardiness.    Each one facilitates a flexible, confident, and passionate approach to life, ensuring a strong degree of resiliency when responding to a range of stressful conditions.

Programs are offered as 1/2 day, full or 2-day workshops depending on your needs.  In addition, online training webinars are also available.

We use the Hardiness Resilience Gauge (HRG) assessment in this work.
